Term 1 Week 10 'Star of the Week'

The  'Star of the Week’ for Week 10 is  Denver.
Denver knows what to do and tries her best in class.
Thank you, Denver, it's great to have you in our room.

We've had a busy week and all worked really hard. The children are amazing and I am very proud of them. They are focused in class and when I look back over the term I can see the progress they have made. Come into the classroom to see what we have been doing.

Yesterday we welcomed Paige to our room. Paige has moved to Christchurch from Cromwell. We hope you enjoy being in our room, Paige.

Next week is the last for Term 2. It will be another busy week and by Friday we will be ready for our holiday.
I am looking forward to hearing about the disco on Monday. I was sorry to miss it as I know it was going to be lots of fun.
On Monday our room is leading the school assembly. Assembly starts at 12md in the church. If you are able to come along it would be great to see you.
On Thursday we will have a fun day. The children can wear mufti (no donation required), a sausage and ice-block will be provided for lunch - a special thanks to the Parent Council -  and we'll be involved in some fun activities in the afternoon.
On Friday we begin our move back to Room 3. Also on Friday the children will bring home their portfolio. Next term there will be an opportunity for you to meet with me to discuss the portfolio, or any other matter you wish. To book an appointment time please log in to www.schoolinterviews.co.nz our school code is S2KSS. This site will be open on Tuesday. If you have any problems with this, please let me know.
Have a relaxing weekend.
